A successful agent would be passionate about achievement and draw energy from working with people. This enthusiastic, self-starting person with a passion for selling is responsible for converting leads into appointments through personalized follow-up and outbound sales to bring in new clients.
This person Is passionate about growing the business through multiple lead generation channels. Knows lead generation and conversion numbers, and pursues ways to improve them. Has the ability to lead a fast-moving, productive department. Maintains a high level of quality in all aspects of lead generation and customer service. Has a high level of accountability and a commitment to growth and most importantly would love working to support the sale of puppies!
This individual will take ownership of leads, and actively systematize the conversion process for maximum effectiveness. They can record their productivity and sales metrics and track the results in regular accountability meetings. This person has the drive and tenacity to achieve or exceed productivity, appointment setting, and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in the form of sales leads) and the subsequent documentation, assignment, and follow up of those leads.
This individual must be highly trustworthy—in addition to being the first point of contact to the team, they will also have access to sensitive files and information regarding associates, customers, and finances.
The Director of sales activities directly affect the bottom line, and as such they are deeply committed to the team achieving greater and greater levels of success, as well as to growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the team.
This job will require a mental toughness and drive to succeed at a high level! The payout is there for the right person who is driven to achieve, annual compensation ranging from $40K-$100K+.
Over time, as leadership skills are exhibited, the Director of sales may have the opportunity to grow into different roles with the company as it grows and expands its successful model.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requested.
- 1 years call center experience
- MUST be a people person
- Competency and professionalism in managing customer service tasks
- Basic knowledge of different dog breeds
- Associates degree in business administration or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills…A writing sample may be required Excellent computer skills
- Great amount of knowledge of sales techniques
- Ability to apply active listening skills and problem solving techniques to resolve issues
- Typing-speed of 55 words per minute or faster
- A pleasant personality and cheerful demeanor
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word & Excel
